Interested in becoming a volunteer firefighter or EMT?

The men and women of Wyoming Fire-EMS are dedicated to providing the best fire protection and emergency medical services to the City of Wyoming.  Responding to both Wyoming calls and calls in surrounding communities, Wyoming Fire-EMS personnel are committed to helping their neighbors during crises when they need it the most.  Whether they are fighting fire, performing an auto extrication, providing advanced life support to a heart-attack victim, or simply pumping a flooded basement; the Wyoming volunteer gives of his/herself without question in the spirit of community service.  Being able to make a difference in the life of your neighbors is the greatest reward of all.

In order to be a volunteer firefighter/EMT you must:

• Be 18 years old

• Be a high school graduate or have your GED

• Complete your Firefighter I Course or EMT Basic Course

If you are interested in volunteering with Wyoming Fire-EMS we will be happy to pay for your training and equipment in return for three years of committed service. If you would like to apply to become a volunteer firefighter/EMT please download the employment application and return it to:
